01] Say I: "A prophet is such a quite simple, natural man just like you, subjected to all kinds of weaknesses; but since he has an intelligent heart wherein neither anger nor revenge, nor resentment, nor pride, nor adultery and all kinds of prostitution can put down firm roots, so the divine spirit purifies his heart from all kinds of various dross of the world; and when the sole heart is therefore purified, then the divine spirit pours a light out of the heavens into such heart.
02] Since the prophet easily recognises it, that this is a light out of the heavens, which expresses itself always in clearly audible words, the ready prophet is so allowed to then just speak out loud with the voice of his mouth, what he clearly and unambiguously hears in his heart, and he then already prophecies in perfect prophetic measure!
03] If it is now necessary, then the prophet’s will is driven by God to speak that to the people, and to do suchlike before them, what he hears in his heart, - and such is then called a truthful prophecy or prediction and is just as good God’s pure word as if God himself would have spoken directly out of his mouth to men.
